TVRA Repeaters

VHF and UHF Repeaters for Southwest Idaho and Oregon

The Lime Hill and Butte Amateur Radio Repeater System serving SW Idaho and Easter Oregon

The Lime Hill Repeater System was designed and built by Mike Hudson N7KNL for the Treasure Valley Radio Association (TVRA). Money, ideas, equipment and labor were all donated by TVRA club members to create this system.
The equipment is located in a commercial building generously offered by a local cable company.
The Lime Hill VHF repeater operates on 147.120 + It is a converted Motorola commercial system. This repeater is on a at an altitude of around 5000 feet. It is located near Huntington, Oregon and can be worked from as far away as Baker City, Oregon and Boise, Idaho.

There is also a 444.150 UHF Motorola repeater which requires a 100 Hz PL tone for access.
Their are two Motorola converted radios for linking to the other TVRA repeater sites.

 

The Butte and Sheep Creek are the other two repeater sites.

The Butte site is located west of Ontario Oregon. operating on 147.100 + The Sheep Creek site is located north of Weiser, Idaho. operating on 145.390.

All three repeaters require a PL tone of 100 Hz for access. All sites use Cell Wave vertical commercial antennas. Two of the sites use RLC-4 controllers for repeater linking.
